WHY WOMEN LIKES AND HATES TO HIGH HEEL

Five Things to Love About High Heels (And A Three Things to Hate)
Some women love high heels, and other women hate them.
But I believe that most of us fall somewhere in the middle,
having a love/hate relationship with high heels -- we know
how painful they can be, but we can't resist the call of a
pretty pair of pumps, even if they do have horrible, horrible
four inch heels. Over the years, I've tried to use moderation
when it comes to high heeled shoes. I opt for chunkier heels,
and don't go in much for stilettos, thinking that while they
may be just as bad for my feet, at least I'm less likely to injure myself while wearing them. I mix my high heels in with a lot of flats, sneakers, and lower-heeled shoes, and I never wear high heels for very long, or do a lot of walking in them. I also try to find the most comfortable high heels that I can, make sure they fit well, and never wear a heel over about 4 inches. Because let's face it, no matter how pretty or sexy the shoes are, nobody looks good teetering on a pair of ill-fitting stilettos that they can barelywalk in.
Thus far, I've sustainedno major injuries, and I don't have any heel-related problems that I'm aware of. This could be that my moderation methodis working, or it could just be dumb luck. I suspect that the debate over whether or not women should wear high heels will continue long after I've retired my platform sandals. In the meantime, I've compiled this list of things to love about high
heels, and to keep things balanced, I've included a few things
to hate about them.

5 Things to Love About High Heels

1) High Heels Make You TallerVertically challenged
women everywhere will tell you how they love their
heels. But, even if you don't need extra height, having
it can make you feel good. It's truly a heady feeling to
slip on a pair of shoes and instantly be 3 or 4 inches
taller, and reaching things on the top shelf, well, it's
a high like no other.

2) High Heels Don't Make You Look FatUnlike skinny
jeans, cropped leggings, or whatever other torturous
styles are appearing on the runways, high heels won't
make you look fat. Granted, some styles are more
flattering than others, but as a general rule, heels
are more slimming than flats.
3) High Heels Can Make an OutfitEven a pair of jeans
and a t-shirt can take on an entirely different look
when a pair of heels is added, and nothing can make a
plain skirt pop like the perfect pair of pumps or sandals.
Heels add a feminine touch to suits as well.

4) High Heels Make You Feel (and Look!) SexyJust
putting on a pair of sexy high heels can make you feel
sexier, but they also can make you look sexier. High
heels change our body stance, making our calf muscles
more pronounced, and forcing our butts and chests
out -- it's nearly as if high heels force us into better
posture ... and good posture is always sexy.

5) High Heels Don't Have to Cost a FortuneWhile
it's easy to spend a fortune on high heels, even
inexpensive brands can look great. In fact, there
are few things that can cost as little and make you
feel quite as happy, as a pair of killer heels.
Three Things We Hate About High Heels ...
1)High Heels Wreak Havoc on Our Bodies

In addition to making your feet sore, wearing
very high heels too often or for too long can
cause knee and back pain, as well as a host of
other foot problems.

2)High Heels Can Cause Serious Injury

I once read an article in which an ER doctor described
some of the injuries caused by high heel shoes. Among
them, was injuries caused by having a stiletto heel
rammed into the top of another person's foot on a
dance floor. Not all foot injuries sound quite as gruesome,
but trust those who've endured them, they all hurt like hell.

3)High Heels Are Hard to Walk In

Granted, some women seem to have been born
wearing high-heeled shoes, and could probably
climb a mountain in them -- have you heard
about High Heel Races? But for most of us,
some things are just less convenient in heels.
A few things that come to mind are: icy streets,
grassy areas, steep or long staircases, snowy
sidewalks, slippery floors, puddles of water,
dancing, running, and aerobics ... the list goes
on and on. We may love them, but if high heels
were as comfortable as many of us claim, we'd
be lounging around in our PJs and evening shoes.

LATEST SHOES FASHION AND SPRING SHOES FOR WOMEN

Shoes in Bright Colors

You'll be seeing a lot of purple pumps, pink platforms and melon Mary Janes -- in fact, every color of the rainbowis well represented in this spring’s selection of footwear. But there is a special emphasis on hot and citrus colors like oranges, limes, yellows and pinks. This is great news for those of us who die a little bit inside every time the fashion powers-that-be decide that beige is the new black.

Print Shoes

From floral patterns to retro graphic prints,
prints are experiencing a bit of a comeback
this season, and there are enough out there
that I'm calling it a mini-trend.I love print
shoes because they're such an easy way to
inject a bit of personality into an otherwise
basic outfit -- and they're great for pulling
together multiple colors. The key to pulling
them off is in keeping the rest of your outfit
relatively simple.

Color Block Shoes
Another huge trend for Spring 2008 is Color Block shoes (or shoes with "color blocking") -- which is basically a 50 cent term for shoes that combine big, bold areas of
contrasting colors. It's a great look, and one I'm really fond of.
And it works so well with mod styles, bright colors and shiny
finishes, it's the perfect time for its comeback. Patent Leather
Shoes Happily, we're not done with patent leather yet, especially
since I can't wait to see all of this season's bright colors coated
with shiny varnish. All I can say to my fellow patent lovers is to
enjoy these glistening gems while you can, because as hard as it
is to believe, shiny shoes aren't always so popular.

Metallic Shoes
Metallic shoes are in again. Not that they were ever really "out"
exactly. It's just a matter of which department you'll find them in.
When they're really "in" you'll find metallic flats, casuals, boots,
even metallic sneakers. When metallics aren't quite as hot, you'll
find them mostly in the evening shoe department.Well, this spring,
you can have just about any kind of shoe you desire with a metallic
finish. Especially if you desire it in gold, and especially, especially if
you desire it in silver. Shimmer on.

Shoes with Cut-Out Uppers
Holy Shoes, shoes with holes in them are hot! Laser cut, punched,
mesh and perforated uppers can be found on everything from
sporty shoes to pretty pumps, and with designs ranging from
dainty floral patterns to designs that look nearly industrial. While
this trend isn't quite as omnipresent as some of the others on the
list, it is one of the more innovative -- and some of my favorite
styles thus far this season, have fallen into this category.

Sling-Back Shoes
Sling-back shoes are among my favorite styles, so I'm happy
to report that they'll be hitting the streets and our feet with a
vengeance this spring. One of the reasons I like sling-backs so
much is because I find them less-confining than regular pumps.
And while back straps are usually found on shoes with higher
heels, this season, they can even be found on flats and lower
heeled styles.

Platform Shoes
While we may not be quite as platform-crazed as we were last
Spring and Summer, make no mistake, platform shoes are still
a popular choice for Spring 2008. But if you want to stay on the
cutting-edge of this wave, try looking for styles that pair one of
this season's other hot trends, like bright colors or cut-out uppers,
with their thick soles.

Wedge Shoes
Wow, wedge heels were gone for all of what, like a year? But lo
and behold, they're on their way back. While wedge shoes aren't
exactly a "craze" again yet, there is definitely enough of them on
the shelves to call them a mini-trend. The good news is, this is a
style that's easy to wear, and one that works especially well with
warm weather shoes like espadrilles and sandals.

DIAMOND AND ITS ROLE, TYPES, COLORS AND SHAPES

DIAMOND AND OUR SENTEMENTS

Diamond is only a single gemstone which is closely touch our sentements.
Especially women are so crazy about the diamond jewelry, the reason is that the love with jewelry is include in the nature of every woman.Another reason may be that the diamond is a precious metal and it is so costly, so that a woman feels keen interest to wear such a diamond jewelry.

DIAMONDS ROLE
A high quality diamond is a marvelous sight. No synthetic can quite match it. But with all the possible treatments out there it can be hard to know whether or not you really have a high quality diamond naturally, or one that has been treated to look better than it really is.

DIAMOND PRICES
As treated diamonds are cheaper, they can be nice for the more
budget-minded shopper. It's a basic fact of gemstones that higher
quality stones are rarer and more expensive. A lower quality stone
that has been made to appear like a better one is not deserving of the
higher price.

HYBRID DIAMOND
The hybrid diamond uses a technique that sees tiny diamond
crystals bonded by using diffusion or brazing to a wedge shaped
steel support results in what’s referred to as a hybrid diamond.
The process creates the first almost flawless simulated diamond,
and the market is certainly ready for such an option.
The hybrid diamond has become very popular with the consumer looking to
purchase a diamond much to the controversy with the diamond market.
The hybrid diamond will take the moissanite every time in all aspects.
The hybrid diamond is graded at 5-G, which is a rating that even the
majority of diamonds don’t reach. You’ll not only have the color of a
hybrid diamond you will have the durability too. This latest technique
of brazing or diffusing the hybrid diamond bonding methods does an
excellent job of attaching the steel wedge shape to the diamond disk.
The biggest concern with the hybrid diamond is this attachment, which
is difficult at best. The hybrid diamond costs a fraction of a diamond. It’s
beautiful, brilliant, and affordable, and it comes without the guilt of blood shed.

How to judge diamond colors
Diamonds are not all truly colorless, but it's the colorless,
often called white, which are diamonds that other shades
are judged against.
The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has devised
a set of guidelines to grade diamond color. The color of
graded diamonds is compared to the color of control stones,
preselected gems of a specific color.
Diamond Grading Procedure
· Graded diamonds must be loose stones, because the color
diamonds in settings can be affected by the metal colors
used in the mountings. Diamonds are placed table-down,
pavilion-up and viewed with a 10X loupe. A lettering
system from D to Z is used to identify the amount of color
present in each diamond, with D awarded only to rare,
totally colorless diamonds

Diamond Color Grades
Colorless diamonds and diamonds that are yellow or
yellowish brown are grouped into the categories shown below.

D-E-F
Colorless.
G-H-I-J
Nearly colorless.

K-L-M
Faintly tinted, usually yellow.
N-O-P-Q-R
Lightly tinted, usually yellow. Tint can be seen with the naked eye.

S-T-U-V-W-X-Y-Z
Tinted, usually yellow, may progress to brownish. Tint visible to
the naked eye, even when mounted.

Other Factors Affect Diamond Color
FluorescenceGIA diamond reports and many other lab reports
indicate whether or not a diamond exhibits fluorescence, which
means the diamond's color changes when it is exposed to
ultraviolet radiation. Since UV radiation is a component of
daylight and is also present in fluorescent lit rooms, diamonds
with this characteristic can appear to change color quite often.
· Diamonds that produce a blue reaction usually appear whiter,
or more colorless, under UV light.
· Stones that fluoresce yellow appear even more yellow under
some lighting conditions.

Diamond Color Treatments
The color of a some diamonds can be dramatically changed by using
HPHT (high pressure/high temperature) processing. Unlike
diamond treatments used in the past, HPHT changes appear to be
permanent. Coatings are sometimes used to temporarily enhance a
diamond's color.

GOLD AND ITS IMPORTANCE IN OUR LIVES

Gold is a Precious metal and played a very important role in the lives of human beings since ancient times. Its shiny look always made a statement about the wearer, allowing him or her to enter different social circles without too much trouble. People enjoy wearing jewelry for lots of reasons, like
Social Status Statement.
You rarely have the opportunity to see homeless people wear an inch thick gold chain around their necks because they cannot afford one. These pieces of jewelry are meant only for people that have the money to buy them.

Fashion Statement.
Another reason why people buy jewelry is to make a fashion statement. Some pieces may go well with the wardrobe, while others may be worn simply because they are hip at the time of purchase. But what happens when they are out of date or you break them?

The Material Used
The material used and the jewelry itself was and continues to be status symbols. The jewelry excavated that dated back to the pre medieval and post medieval times are almost all made of gold. Gold or the Royal Metal is used to make solid gold, gold filled and gold plated jewelry.
PURE GOLD
The twenty four (24) carat gold is also referred to as pure gold. This form of the metal is extremely soft and usually avoided in jewelry making since it loses shape easily. Most of the solid gold pieces used in gold jewelry making are of eighteen Carat, fourteen Carat or ten Carat.

Scrap Gold
The most common scenario is they end up in the back of a drawer or jewelry box, thus becoming scrap gold. Their value is still according to the market, but you tend to forget about them since they are no longer a part of your active social life.Scrap gold can include a lot of things like earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings and a lot of items like that. Once they are out of date and they are no longer in tone with the current fashion tendencies, why should you let them gather dust instead of profiting? You always have the option to sell gold jewelry that you no longer use, and there are many interested parties that can relieve you of your troubles.

GOLD FILLED JEWELERY
Gold filled jewelry comes next in line, after solid gold jewelry. This type of gold jewelry involves a base metal covered by a sheet of gold. The malleability enables the metals to appear as one and the piece can be beaten to any shape and worked upon. The ratio of five percent of the gold to the total weight has not affected the market for gold filled jewelry. Generally the eighteen carat gold variety is used over the base metal that could be silver, sterling silver or any other metal. This jewelry lasts for years and makes great heirloom pieces to hand down. However, care should be taken while wearing and preserving this type of jewelry. Too much exposure to water or lack of proper storage will only result in the gold wearing off the top and the exposure of the base metal, reducing the value of the piece.
GOLD PLATED JEWELRY
Gold plated jewelry is usually a thin sheet of gold worked upon a base metal. However, in gold plated jewelry, the sheet used is very thin and the value of the jewelry pieces is much lower. To look after your gold jewelry, you should first and foremost educate yourself on the maintenance.

WHITE GOLD
Various designs are available in this form of gold. It can be used to make simple jewelry or can be paired up with different gems and birthstones. Often customers feel that this type of gold is nothing but a special form of gold. However it is not so, it is actually a true carat gold just like yellow and red gold.

HOW TO GET WHITE GOLD
The pure gold is bleached, by choosing alloying metals to get white color.
HISTORY
In the year 1920, white gold was specially developed to make jewelry as a substitute to platinum. Platinum jewelry is very expensive in comparison to white gold jewelry. This gold comes in 21 carat. When combined with gems and diamonds it creates finest jewelry. Most brides today prefer white gold jewelry because of its durability and shine.
TYPES
White gold comes in two types the Nickel white and Palladium white.
Palladium white is generally soft and makes it easier to mould it while nickel gold is hard and doesn't mould easily. Most white gold jewelry is coated with rhodium, which is a part of platinum. This coating makes the jewelry excusive. To let your jewelry sparkle for long a thin electroplated coating is applied on the jewelry.
DESIGNS AVAILABLE
A large number of designs are available in the market to cater to the needs of customers. Not only brides but also college going girls has shown a lot of interest in wearing this jewelry. Earrings, bracelets, ankle bracelets, necklace, bangles and rings are very popular. Combination of this type of gold and diamonds is the most preferred form of jewelry. To meet the expectations of young girls, jewelers have come up with pendants and lockets that can be wore daily. It not only enhances your look but also keep your friends spellbound at its beauty. Bracelets and chains are also more popular among youngsters.
Any form of jewelry leaves a woman looking beautiful. White gold jewelry is widely accepted because it has a special spark and is easy to maintain.
